Little Bird Cinematics is seeking expressive, emotionally grounded Reenactment Actors of South Asian heritage for dramatic historical and narrative reenactment sequences in our upcoming feature documentary, Project South Africa.
We are casting a diverse ensemble of 2 female and 3 male actors to bring key historical and thematic moments to life on screen. Because these scenes are mostly non-verbal, we are looking for performers who excel in physical theatre, micro-expressions and conveying deep emotion, narrative tension and character history purely through movement and body language. The ideal candidates will bring cultural authenticity, strong presence and the ability to take subtle direction in a sensitive documentary environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Director and camera crew to execute precise emotional beats and atmospheric visual moments.
- Maintain consistency in character framing, blocking and physical continuity across multiple setups and takes.
- Adhere to strict professionalism and sensitivity regarding the historical and cultural themes explored in the documentary.
Prior acting experience in film, television, theatre or visual physical performance are a strong plus.
Availability for scheduled shoot dates during the production window.
